Your Privacy Choices
Last updated July 11, 2026
This page gathers, in one place, the choices and rights you have over your information with Call Bear. It's a companion to our full Privacy Policy — that document has the complete detail; this one is about what you can do.
The short version
- We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising — so there's no "sale" to opt out of.
- Transcripts and recordings are off unless you turn them on.
- You can change what's stored and delete your data, request a copy of it, or close your account — anytime.
Controls in the app
Most of your privacy choices are one tap away in the Call Bear app, and every one of them is reversible:
- Transcripts and recordings. Off by default. Turn call transcripts and audio recordings on or off per line, whenever you like. When they're on, your Call Bear gives callers a clear AI-and-recording notice and asks first; if a caller declines, that call is handled without keeping a transcript or recording.
- Messages. Read and delete the messages your Call Bear takes. Messages are automatically deleted about 90 days after they're taken; you can delete any of them sooner.
- Call forwarding. Turn forwarding to your own phone on or off.
- Pause. Stop your line from taking calls whenever you want, and turn it back on when you're ready.
- Notifications. Manage push notifications from your device settings.
- Delete your account. Delete your account and its data from within the app. See deleting your account for exactly what's removed and the few minimal records we're legally required to keep.
What we never do
- We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- We recognize callers by phone number only — never by voice, face, or any other biometric. Call Bear does not create voiceprints.
- Our marketing website runs no third-party advertising or cross-site tracking.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live — and we extend these to everyone as a matter of practice — you have the right to:
- Know and access the personal information we hold about you;
- Delete your personal information;
- Correct inaccurate personal information;
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information (we do neither, so there is nothing to opt out of);
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information — we already use it only to provide the service you asked for, never to infer characteristics about you;
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.
Callers — people who called a Call Bear line — may exercise these rights with respect to information from their calls, too.
How to make a request
Email support@call-bear.com and tell us what you'd like to do. We'll verify that the request is really yours (to protect your information), respond within the timelines the law requires, and never charge you or treat you differently for asking. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. If you can't use the app to delete your account, we'll help you do it from your account's email address.
